3D Character Art, based on the fantastic concept art by Daeho Cha.
Rendered in Maya with Arnold.
Hair work is done with standard Xgen. Original sculpture and high poly done in Zbrush and Maya.
All the cloth work was also modeled and sculpted by hand without the aid of sim software for full artistic control. The design work on the cloth was all redrawn by hand in Photoshop, based on the design in the original concept art.
Most of the texture work was done in Substance Painter. The skin was painted in Mari. TextureXYZ maps were utilized as a base for both pore and skin color with additional painting on top.
